I agree making the raid times shorter is terrible and leads to camping. I also wonder how much of that is the server overload.

I have experienced tagged and cursed on a raid where I was fully geared. No clue what was the trigger in this case and probably a bug. If you put gear on, it breaks the tag. Say you kill a few scavs and toss on a rig or armor. Pistol only (with spare mag of course) works consistently for me.
