The first two times it happened I just applied some forward pressure on the transfer case lever and the light stopped flickering. The third time that didn't work and I got the Service 4WD message but it went out when I restarted the engine.The vehicle uses the signal from the wheel speed sensors for the 4WD, ABS, and ESP/Traction control. If any of the 4 wheel speed sensors is damaged or disconnected then those systems will all report errors and light their fault lights. When I turn it on it starts normal but then chimes and turns to rapid blinking after just a couple seconds. I tried changing the bulbs and it didn’t help.

I also get a warning beep. When this happens the front turn signal blinks twice as fast and the rear does not work at all. When the blink rate is normal the rear signal works properly.Maybe the abs ring, maybe the wheel sensor isn't seated properly. If you replaced the bearing only and not the entire assembly, the abs ring may not be facing towards the sensor, or maybe it's a bearing that doesn't have the abs ring. I checked the wire harness, it looked fine. I ordered 4 abs sensors replaced them and one wheel bearing. Problem solved. The rear wheel abs sensor setup is bad engineering. Rust will accumulate and trip those sensors.
