I finished my taper almost 2 months ago. I still don't feel amazing, but I feel way better than I did while tapering, and way better than I did on the Lamictal. My vision/light sensitivity is gone, and my skin isn't dry and rashy around my nose anymore. Focus is a bit off to be honest, but memory feels a lot better. Symptoms can resolve sooner if you go back on your medication or take a new, similar antidepressant. Besides "brain zaps," antidepressant discontinuation syndrome can cause: Flu-type symptoms, such as feeling overheated and exhausted, and having headaches and muscle aches.
