Zryachiy, the Cultist Boss recently added to the game, will now spawn on every map in the game during Halloween 2023. In the beginning, he will be friendly, and he will not attack you. In fact, he’ll even drop useful loot to help you. However, some players can use this to their advantage. They can eliminate him and grab the better loot. Now; cultists are near-invisible on thermals, can engage up to & past 200 meters, have the same level of cracked-ness as boss scavs, spawn in a couple new locations, and will now shoot on sight. There are MANY documented cases of cultists who were not previously aggroed forgoing the poisoned blade and engaging in shoot-on-sight behavior. But at the end of the day Tarkov should mantain it's semi-realistic aproach to factions/lore etc. Cultist still spawn on Shoreline/Customs/Woods so you can still try to kill then there ... Maybe a lower spawn rate than Woods/Shoreline to prevent people farming them for gear, but it would solve the dead raid issue. Reply reply

You're just unlucky man, but I also don't believe they have a 12% spawn rate because usually I scav night time customs for money. I've died more to the cultists in the last week than I have players, the goons, or reshy and the lads. It's 12% of all raids, not 12% of yours.
