Its crazy that I first started reading CxBx progress reports 17 years ago. It's nuts that the reloaded found usable code to build off of, and have turned it in to what it is. Also of interest is this progress checklist from the original project. Neat, they fixed the weird ghosting in Tony Hawk 2X.

CXBX-R still has its merits. For the handful of games it does work with, they play much smoother than they do on Xemu and have practically-nonexistant load times. Xemu is generally the better emulator, but it's a lot more CPU-intensive and as of yet doesn't have any way to lift the framerate cap and things like that.
