The most I’ve done is replace head units and install speakers along with an in-line Alpine amplifier. The Bose sound is muffled and muddled.

You do this by pulling the gear shift level into low, and pulling on the plastic trim. There are about 8 clips, and a couple of plastic pins to deal with. My buddy took it to his shop today and hooked it to their Tech 2 scan tool and tried to reprogram the Head Unit. They got it to unlock and it shows that it is working, but there is no sound.
