If the gun fails to feed, look at the left side and see if the slide stop has engaged the notch in the slide and locked open. The nose of the top round in the mag can hit the inside SS tab and activate it. The issue is SAMMI specs for .380acp is lower pressures than NATO specs. The 42 was designed for NATO. SAMMI specs actually allow manufacturers to be anywhere between SAMMI and NATO pressures even if mixed in the same box. Glock 42 jamming issue. I bought this glock 42 and finally fired it on dec 28. However, the gun repeatedly jammed every 2 rounds. Also, after the final round, the round never ejected and the slide stayed closed. Anyone else have this problem, I have a 19 and 26 with no failures in 16 years.
