Ford 6600 tractor problems.

May 17, 2019. #1. Good evening all, Just bought a 1981 Ford 6600 for the farm and it has a small leak that's got me wondering. Dead center on the bottom of the. transmission is what looks like an cotter pin stuck in a hole. Both the transmission and hydraulics use the same oil, originally MC2-134A.The manual will show you where to install a tee and pressure gauge in the PS pressure line, and they tell you what the pressure the pressure should be. Quite often when there is a problem with the neutral switch the pigtail gets unplugged and the harness connector gets a "jumper" made from whatever is available. Look for the matching connector under the paneling beneath the key switch. Also look for a switch near the PTO lever.
