320 posts · Joined 2012. #13 · Sep 22, 2021. So I own a New Model Blackhawk in .45 Colt (2018 mfr) and I have decided to attempt to replace the Plowhandle Grip Frame with a Bisley Grip Frame. I also want to change-out the Hammer and Trigger to Bisley. These parts have been ordered and are on their way to me as we speak.This is legal in CA. In fact, from what I hear, CA is the only reason this conversion kit exists. The LC380CA is legal, getting the conversion kit does not make it a LC9. It still a LC380CA, it has just been converted to shoot 9mm rounds. It seems to be away around the microstamping stuff to get CA residents a way to have 9mm SA pistol.SKU: 480842.
