Mar 20, 2013. #1. I just bought a 15 hp gamefisher (force) for a $100. I put a new water pump on it,cleaned the carb and replaced fuel lines. Compression is 90 on ea. cyd. I'm having a fuel issue and not sure what else I can do. It is loading up on #2 cyd.

15 HP. Old coil burnt out so its finally running again. Running a bit rich but who cares.Re: Gamefisher 9.9/15 hp from 80's ignition repair-retrofitting I'm not sure what your working on here but its nothing like any of the mid to late 80's Gamefisher motors I've ever seen, all of mine have two coils under the flywheel and a top mounted recoil. I think what you have there is the earlier model Eska motor not a newer Force/Gamefisher.Place shift lever in "Neutral" and run motor at fast idle. • Disconnect fuel line from bushing on motor. • When motor begins to stall, rapidly inject a rust preventive oil into the carburetor air intake for ten (10) to twenty (20) seconds until motor stops (Fig- ure 25).

Can some one tell me the proper spark plug size. I replaced them last year with what was in it (can,t remember the size) but fished all winter with it and they are fouling out.

It is ok for water to come out immediately.If you have no water coming out that means there is no cooling taking place.You can take out the stat and check it by putting it in a glass of cold water for a few minutes and then put it in a glass of warm water and see if it opens at all.It should.Charlie.
