For hardcore it's hard to pass up stout of heart for the bonus hp and the energy absorb - esp with over-tuned enemy spells since 48.4. sentinels of stormreach is easier in heroics. Do not run storm the beaches in epics on hardcore, the ballistas will kill you. Carnival is about the same in heroics and epics so if you get burnt out at level 5 you can always do these at 20-22. feywild and sharn are both probably the same difficulty in heroics and epics.
