She has worked in the field of education for over 16 years and began her tenure with UC San Diego in 2009 within the Office of the VC – Student Affairs, continued in Parent and Family Programs and later serving as the inaugural Director of the Chancellor’s Associates Scholars Program (CASP).
CASP employee and student here. We have a sense of community in CASP, but like most programs you get what you put in, in that sense. The program helps transfers get involved through weekly seminars (Learning Communities) but overall transfers have fewer requirements and programs (Freshmen are put into OASIS first and second year programs).
We acknowledge that both programs offer a wealth of resources, experiences, and information that will help you with your transition to UCSD.
