Add bloodhound step and you will be relentless. Bandit curved sword and the others are kind of meh because they give c Dex or str scaling with bleed. Godskin peeler is pretty good but the moveset takes a lot more windup and you are locked into a weapon art. Bandits blow scimitars out of the water.

Just be aware that unless you get someone to trade with you, you can only get a single Scavenger sword per NG cycle. I've tried dual lava swords, wing of astel, and a couple others.Adding your favorite flavor of ranger AoW on the off hand is good. Kick is a classic as well. Great for breaking guards.
