Jan 1, 2014 · The 270 was fitted with a Sav1 trigger. It is basically a replacement for the original Savage triggers which used to have adjustment for the sear and overtravel. So in a rifle with a completely crap trigger, a Sav1 might be an improvement, but only because Savage eliminated their own 3 screw triggers in the first place.
