Pulled on the stem and a hole leaf came out. Took it for a spin and the noise is gone! Guess the wind would make the leaf rattle, and the noise was coming through the air vents so it sounded like it was inside the car. Just glad I found it before I pulled the dash apart. Whenever you open a door it starts to tick like a mad man.
