How do i record a program on xfinity.

My oldest recording is from 2015, and that is never deleted. But dozens of newer programs get randomly deleted. If it was deleting the older programs to make room in the system, the 2015 program would be the first to be deleted. Whatever the problem is, it is not the subscriber.
