Upon deactivating the overlay, the screen moves back … Gw2 Hook. Gw2Hook is a fork of ReShade which target only Guild Wars 2. Modifying Guild Wars 2 is not supported by Arena.Net or NCSoft. Use it at your own risk. This aims at removing the fog in Gw2, but I decided to add more functions to it. This at still in an early stage, and should be used keeping this in mind.

First install ReShade pointing to the Guild Wars 2 folder as "DirectX 11 / dx11", it will create a "dxgi.dll" inside the folder. Move the "dxgi.dll" created from Reshade on the root folder into the new "reshade" folder. The main issue right now with running ReShade is that it calls all of the d3d [x] loaders so it will not currently work with ArcDPS.

Download d3d9.ddl from arcdps homepage. Place it in same folder as Gw2-64.exe but rename it to d3d11.dll. Install ReShade with all files in teh same folder as Gw2-64.exe and the dll should be named dxgi.dll. Dont think this no longer works under dx9 since arcdps removed chainloading and both arcdps and ReShade dll's are both named d3d9.dll

CeeJay's SweetFX 1.5 package on the other hand hooks into the game problem free. I place SweetFX 1.5 into the main directory of Guild Wars 2 next to Gw2.exe. I finally decided to play gw2 on dx11 I got all the addons for dx11 working along with reshade. (even gw2_hook works great after renaming to dxgi.dll) However, all the presets I had on gw2_hook work but they are awfully sharp and crude. And even presets new directly on reshade dx11. It appears to be a custom fork of reshade with a few extra tweaks. Reading through their website, it appears that GW2 is supported. However, the UI skip feature appears to be specific to FFXIV. Gshade Works in GW2 it's my daily Driver.
