Sure, there was a Tweet that Cenx made about the difficulty in GFB becoming Legendary if you set it as Master, but she specifically said it only applies to Master mode.

The start was, obviously, very painful, but once you understand the awareness and the ways to prevent it, then it becomes a pretty unique experience. The combination of all seed's niche's together does make up for it. I havn't tried the remix seed, but I think it could fit for a similair, although a bit less diverse, experience.
