Mage doesn't work with Ferocity, even as LCM (last I checked). Use something like a Sheep pet. If you want to go faster, use a Black Cat pet. You might not have much survivability or damage, but hey, people can't kill you if you kill them first. There's no cutting the budget as Mage. Welcome to Economic Hell.

From someone who dropped 2 handles as tank, i can say that the best things for f7 tank on a tight budget without clearing setup would be the normal 3/4 and reaper mask with giant reforge. This also comes with the standard blue whale (preferably legendary) with a pet item of your choice.
