It's hard to believe that with all the noise about this issue, Honda is still not offering a software option to disable this feature. This scenario is no different than the outcry of BMW owners when BMW started to deploy their "Auto Start" feature not too long ago.When it goes into ECO mode at 65-75, I do feel a difference in the steering wheel but it's not pronounced. My wife is convinced that it makes a difference and was turning it on everytime she had a reason to drive. I was averaging about 24.5 MPG each tank. The last tank without the Econ on is at 25.5.
