Just looking for some build advice, I'll be playing Pathfinder 2e for the first time soon, coming from DnD 5e. Still getting used to new rules! I really like the idea of Thaumaturge, and decided to try and build a character inspired by Harry Dresden. My initial plans were to go for a Dex-based Thaumaturge, with a weapon implement being a pistol. This feat increases the damage one step if it is a simple weapon and also gives +2 circumstance damage with crossbows. Not bad if you want to use a hand crossbow (1d8+2 plus implement empowerment, weakness damage and specialization). Aasimar, Tiefling or Half elves can be really cool demon hunters. Half orcs and pure orcs can be so superstitious that making them a Thaumaturge is mega fitting for them.

Yeah, the best moves I've been able to find are Wand and Weapon Implement with a passive for the third as needed. Turn one is Exploit>Strike>Cursed Effigy. Subsequent turns are Lightning Wand and a Thrown weapon. You could also take a Repeating gun and try to fish for the crit specialization as that also procs the Cursed Effigy debuff.Deckard Cain. A thaumaturge with mirror and regalia implements is the best marshal, hands down. But it depends on what you want to do as a marshal. Some are backline marshals, and some are frontline.
